Lazy Naturals Summer 16 Products Review: Curls Blueberry Bliss

Hey Curlfriend! Welp, here we are the last days of Summer! I hope you enjoyed this heat! It was slow coming but once it was hot, it was on fire!

As a self proclaimed Lazy Natural, this heat really makes me cut my hair care routine down to a minimum. That being said, choosing products that retain moisture, and keep my hair well managed is very important. This month I used Frizz Free Curls Blueberry Bliss collection. I got all these products from my August Curlbox subscription for $20. These products are full of moisture grabbing humectants and natural extracts that strengthen, repair, and protect your tresses!

Curls Blueberry Bliss Review
1. Curls Blueberry Bliss Reparative Hair Wash – It’s sulfate, paraben, and silicone free. It has a very strong blueberry scent, but it doesn’t have any artificial fragrances or color, not quite sure how they make it blue. The price point is $12 for an 8oz bottle. The shampoo lathers very well ( I love a good lather), it cleanses and moisturizes the hair. It has a medium constancy, but has great slip. I wasn’t a fan of the scent, but I was pleased with the results. It’s packed with vitamin rich Blueberry Extract, Aloe leaf juice, vegetables glycerin and Chamomile Extract. All proven to promote strengthen, moisturize, and repair the hair.

2. Blueberry Bliss Reparative Hair Mask – The conditioner will run you about $15.00 for the 8 oz jar. It has a thick consistency, and comes in a jar so it’s easy to scoop with one had while in the shower! It has the same smell as the shampoo . As I said above it is packed with natural moisture grabbers that will use natures gifts to pull the water out of the air into your tresses!

◦ 3. CURLS Blueberry Bliss Reparative Leave In Conditioner – I am a leave in lover! And I must say this one it pretty good. I used it for my LOC method as well as for daily maintenance. It left my hair soft and feeling great for days. I had mini twists so I could not get to my hair shaft per say, but this leave in did a great job penetrating my hair and keeping my hair healthy. If you are wearing a protective style and not doing your hair daily, I suggest using this product for sustained moisture days at a time. In addition to the above it also has silk amino acids, grape seed oil, and mango butter which are great sources of protein, an vitamins to strengthen and protect the hair.

◦ 4. Blueberry Bliss Twist N Shout Cream & Blueberry Bliss CURL Control Jelly I mixed these 2 together to do my mini twist. All I can say is, 7 days later when I took them out, my hair was still well moisturized and soft. Even though the Jelly is kind of like a gel, by mixing these 2 together there was no drying or flaking. Now they are a bit expensive. The Jelly is about $18.00 and the Twist n Shout is $12-15.00 for 8oz. The good thing is the products are very good and you don’t have to use a lot.
