How To Rock Denim : Plus Sized Denim Style Guide
I guess I witness the evolution of denim. Growing up, my grandma called them dungarees, and you only wore them to do yard work or play outside. They were seen as articles you wore to save your ” good clothes”. Then came the era of “designer Jeans” which most of today’s denim would be. Gloria Vanderbilt, Sasson, Jordache and Sergio Valentini are some that I remember being most coveted by the women around me.
Now Fast forward to present day style. Denim garners enough respect to have an entire runway show produced and aired for TV, i.e the namesake of this post which aired on BET last Friday. (Sidebar : Did you see it? I DVR’d it but haven’t watched it yet). Now it’s not only cool to rock denim, its uncool if you don’t rock the right style of denim.
We wouldn’t want you to be uncool right? So here are some of my favorite Plus Sized Bloggers showing you ” How To Rock Denim ”

As a plus sized woman it’s not always easy to find denim that looks good on me and is stylish. I look for classic cuts like skinnies. I do wear flares but at 5’2″ wearing a sized 22 sometimes it’s hard to find my length. My favs right now are actually a black pair from Fashion To Figure. Torrid and Lane Bryant also has great jeans for plus sized ( I mean over a size 18) women.
